,...fiVe moNthS afTer assP...

five months after assp isn't really a long tym...i can actually imagine myself...5 months after the program is october...the middle of the school year...and obviously i'm already a fourth year student by that...investigatory projects, researches, long exams, assignments and all other school works you would like to mention...pressure is also much.
i would still not be forgetting the good memories and experiences during the assp...not being with my classmates, schoolmates, close friends, guides and even the teachers in this peroid of tym would be too long...
one thing i'm sure enough is that the values of mAgiS and aNimO would stay in me even after the program...MORE & SPIRIT, and all the other principles we are taught to have...respecting the human dignity and the smiles for being a human...
asspians...one week more to go and we'll already be separating ways and go back to our original environment...hope the spirit, excellence and service remain always with us!!!
don't we ever forget to sMiLE :)
miss u all!!! c,")
'tll next tym and i know we'll still meet someday!

,..aSSp...my fiRst impRessiOn...,

assp? ...ateneo senior summer program? wat's dis all about? ...These are the questions that struck me when i was first informed 'bout this. Of course at first i was very hesitant to join these summer program...a full time activity from mondays thru saturdays...it indeed sounds very tiring, isn't it? how would i enjoy my summer break??? how would i spend quality time w/ my family and friends??? but i have came up w/ my decision...i would like my vacation to be something meaningful and full of learning.

The first 3 days of assp was the hardest day for me...it meant a lot of socializing different people of different personalities...and come to think of it...the "brightest among the brightest" or should i say "the cream of the crop" of the whole region. It even came to reality when we started our formal classes. All are intelligent, active and very participative in the class discussions.

But as days passed...i came to realize that its really worth it...i've chosen the right track. yes, this program is very tiring but i've made many friends in a short period of time...friends who are always willing to help...i've learned many things not only in our classes or from our teachers but from my companions alone.

certainly, this would be a very nice summer vacation! ...although its not really a vacation for us...
